General Info: The popularity of disc golf has exploded in recent years with almost a dozen courses completed or under construction in Metro Louisville. It's very inexpensive and it's great exercise. Eric Jenkins of Hodgenville, KY weighed 315 pounds 1 ½ years ago when he started playing disc golf and has lost 105 pounds already. To assist in battling the obesity epidemic many schools have started intramural disc golf teams. It's great for tourism too. Disc golfers love weekend road trips to try out new courses and re-visit favorites.
